He stepped down from his position as president of board for Dallas County Schools on May 17, 2017 amid ongoing investigations into a multi-million budget gap, the agency s controversial stop-arm camera program and a sale-leaseback land deal that will cost taxpayers millions.
3% development fee added on to bills at Clift Farm businesses

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) - Customers at any of the new restaurants on the Clift Farm development may notice an extra charge on their receipt: a 3% development fee.
Joey Ceci, spokesperson for Breland Companies, said this fee is at all of the businesses on Clift Farm, except for the Publix. He said the money goes toward the public infrastructure projects on the development.
Ceci said they’ve spent more than $20 million so far on projects like widening Highway 72, intersection improvements on Balch Rd. and various sewer and water projects.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
DECATUR â Joshua R. Skinner will face trial on charges he used a home high speed Internet connection to secretly send and receive child pornography.
Skinner, 43, is pleading not guilty to six counts of reproducing child porn involving kids as young as 3 years old from his home in Niantic.
Macon County Circuit Court Judge Rodney Forbes ruled there was probable cause to try Skinner after conducting a preliminary hearing on the charges Feb. 24 and set a pretrial hearing for April 21. Defense attorney Michelle Sanders represented Skinner at the preliminary hearing but court records show he will be defended at trial by attorney Chris Amero.
